The 75th Street Corridor Improvement Project (75th St. CIP) is the largest project in the CREATE Program. The project is located in the Chicago neighborhoods of Ashburn, Englewood, Auburn Gresham and West Chatham along two passenger and four freight rail lines.

The Chicago Region Environmental and Transportation Efficiency (CREATE) Program is a first-of-its-kind public-private partnership between the U.S. Department of Transportation, the State of Illinois, Cook County, the City of Chicago, Metra, Amtrak and the nation's freight railroads. As a project of national significance, CREATE will invest billions in critically needed improvements to increase the efficiency of the region's passenger and freight rail infrastructure and enhance the quality of life for Chicago-area residents. Track Design Firm Selected for the Norfolk Southern CREATE Project EW2 – Segment B

We are excited to announce Norfolk Southern has selected Gannet Fleming, Hanson, and Parsons as lead contractors for the CREATE Program’s Project EW3- Segment B. As a part of the CREATE public-private partnership, the project will include major rehabilitation or replacement nearly 100 structures within the project, many of which were constructed more than a century ago.
