Addendum No. 1 for EW2 Structural Design Solicitation

An Addendum No. 1 for Norfolk Southern Railway Company's (NSR) Request for Proposals to provide Structural, Track, and Civil Engineering Design services for CREATE Project EW2 is being issued. This addendum consists of questions and answers from the pre-proposal meeting held on December 2, 2021, and the attendance roster from the pre-proposal meeting.

NSR is issuing Request for Proposals to provide Structural, Track and Civil Engineering Design services for CREATE Project EW2. NSR desires to contract with Engineering Services Providers (ESP) for four separate design packages for the rehabilitation/replacement of existing rail structures, track, signals and viaducts.

Questions regarding this solicitation will be accepted electronically to jeff.page@nscorp.com and rconrath@benesch.com by 12:00 noon (CST) on December 9, 2021. Responses to the questions will be provided by the Close of Business (COB) on Thursday, December 16, 2021.

Proposal documents must be received before 12:00 noon (CST) on January 14, 2022. Only electronic submittals emailed to jeff.page@nscorp.com by the deadline will be considered. Selection is expected in February 2022.
